How much is tuition at George Brown Polytechnic?
For Canadian citizens and permanent residents, 2026-27 tuition runs from $2,508 to $13,416 for two semesters, depending on the program, and that figure leaves out ancillary fees. Materials and supplies add anywhere from $1 to $6,100. International students pay $17,266 to $31,742 for the same two semesters.
Does George Brown accept OSAP?
Yes. George Brown is an Ontario public college, so Ontario students apply through OSAP. Apply well before the term starts, because funding that arrives after your fee deadline can leave you owing a $150 late charge or losing your registered courses.
What is the tuition deposit at George Brown?
Domestic students pay a $500 deposit before their first term of each academic year, and international students pay at least $2,000. The deposit is non-refundable but it is not an extra charge, it comes straight off your tuition.
Does George Brown have student residence?
Yes. The George, at 80 Cooperage Street next to the Distillery District, is the college's own residence, and Parkside Student Residence is an affiliated partner a short distance away. Most students still live off campus, and the college's housing office keeps an apartment-hunting guide and a list of things to check before you sign a lease.
How do I apply for George Brown scholarships and bursaries?
Through the awards application in STU-VIEW. You fill out a student profile once per academic year, covering your basic information, budget, and essays, then submit the institutional and faculty award applications each term. Deadlines for 2026-27 are September 30 for the Fall term, January 31 for Winter, and May 31 for Spring/Summer.
Can I pay George Brown tuition in instalments?
Yes. A payment plan splits a semester's tuition into three instalments, and it is open to new and returning domestic students and returning international students. It costs $50 per semester, is non-refundable, and a missed instalment carries a $15 charge.
