# U of T tuition due date: Sept 30

A few pieces of it are financial, and those are the ones that cost you if you miss them. ## Orientation: the actual schedule

U of T's **F!rosh Week** runs **Monday, August 31 to Sunday, September 6, 2026**, the week before classes start. It's where you get your bearings, your **TCard** (your student ID), and your first taste of campus life.

A note on how it works: U of T is a college-based university, so F!rosh Week is organized by your college or faculty, and each runs its own events with its own times. There's no single universal schedule. As examples, University College runs its orientation August 31 to September 4, and New College runs August 31 to September 4, with a free academic-prep program called IGNITE on September 4. Your college emails you your specific schedule, so watch your inbox.

Classes for Fall 2026 begin **Tuesday, September 8**.

## The tuition payment deadline: September 30

Your Fall 2026 tuition is due **September 30, 2026**. After the deadline, monthly service charges begin on **October 15** on any unpaid balance.

If you're on OSAP, your funding is applied to your account once it's confirmed, and you're responsible for any shortfall by the due date. If you're paying out of pocket, don't leave it to the last day, because payments can take a few days to land on your account.

## Add, drop, and refund deadlines

Your first weeks are also your window to fix your schedule without academic or financial consequences. The Fall 2026 dates:

- **Set up your bank and payment method.** Know how you'll pay tuition by September 30.
- **Check your fees for things you can opt out of.** Some incidental fees are optional, and the opt-out windows are early in the term.
- **Find your classes before day one.** Orientation is the time to walk your route, so you're not late and stressed on the first morning.
